Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory Plantation Farm Tour
  • When is the tour? On Friday, April 26, 2019, 8:30am - 9:30am.
  • Where is the tour? At the OHCF farm in Keauhou, near Kona town. Click here for the directions.
  • Does the tour start at the Hapuna Beach Hotel. No. It starts and ends at the OHCF farm.
  • How do I book the tour?  Click our online tickets page and look for the tour.
Cacao Farm Seminars
  • When and where are the educational cacao farm seminars? The three farming seminars are held at the Hapuna Beach Resort on the 8th floor in the Milo conference room. You can see the schedule here.
  • What time do they start? The first one begins at 9:30am.
  • Do I have to attend all three seminars? No,  you may attend whichever you like. The ticket is $40 for ALL THREE seminars in advance, or at the door. If you just want to attend one or two seminars the cost is $25 each.
Tequila & Chocolate Pairing 
  • What is this event? This event was just a hit last year we have decided to do it again, but this time add some pupus to the food affair! This Friday evening reception offers pairings of Tattoo Tequila's various organic selections along with bites of uniquely flavored chocolates, created especially for this evening. And a specialty pupu pairing to be prepared by The Westin Hapuna Beach chefs.
  • When and where will it take place?  On Friday, April 26 5pm -6:30pm in the Hua Conference room on the 8th floor at the Hapuna Beach Resort.
  • How much are tickets? They're $50 per person or $85 for two people. Limited seats so order now! You can purchase tickets here.


Saturday Chef Culinary Demonstrations
  • When and where are the demos? The first demonstration begins at 9:30am. All demos take place in the Milo conference room.
  • Who are the presenters? You can see the lineup and chef bios here.
  • What are the ticket options? You may purchase the demonstrations only (all three for $79 in advance, $39 each at the door), or an "I Love Chocolate All Day Pass" which includes all three demonstrations plus a gala ticket for $155 (save $15).
  • What if I want to attend just one or two demonstrations? Not a problem, you can purchase them individually for $39 each at the door.
Fundraising Gala & Silent Auction
  • What’s the date and time  of the gala? Saturday, April 27th, 5pm - 9pm.
  • Is there only one gala? Yes, on Saturday, April 27th.
  • Where will it be held?  In The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort ballroom and outside courtyard.
  • What’s the gala attire? It's fun and festive so think party time! The theme is Chocolate Around the World so feel free to be inspired. People sometime dress up to the theme (Eiffel Tower anyone?)
         Women: Cocktail wear,  flirty dresses, nice pants or shorts, comfortable shoes (part of the event is on grass so be mindful of dressy shoes with heels.
         Men: Aloha shirts, dress khakis (pants or shorts). No beach sandals or shoes, please.
  • Can I buy a ticket at the event? Yes but we encourage you to purchase online here to make sure it’s not sold out. That ticket price is $110 so we encourage you to purchase online here.
  • What does the VIP Gala ticket include? These are limited so get 'em while they're available!  VIP Gala tickets include early access to the chef booths inside the ballroom (before general admission guests), reserved table seating, first access to the silent auction tables, and a private bar. Gala VIP TICKETS usually sell out first, so don't wait!
  • Do you have hotel room packages that include tickets to the gala? Yes and we have limited rooms, so don't wait! You can contact the The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort if you need to add anything special to your reservation.
